Hi,
I have a dought about the cluster attached on the picture.
As you can see the cluster name is HQBUSH0270.
This cluster has two nodes. HQBUSH0271 and HQBUSH0272
And has two groups HQBUSD0273 and HQBUSH0274
What I don't understand is the following:
Because I don't know much about clusters, I thought that the nodes (HQBUSH0271 and HQBUSH0272) were the physical machines and that the groups (HQBUSD0273 and HQBUSH0274) were resources shared.
But the team says that the physical machines are HQBUSD0273 and HQBUSH0274.
Can you please see the picture attached and confirm?
Thank you

Correct, they are the actual physical Windows Server 2003 nodes

and that the groups (HQBUSD0273 and HQBUSH0274) were resources shared.
Correct again, the groups hold the shared resources such as Disk, IP Address, Networkname, SQL Server service, etc.

Which team?
They may want to read my stairway series on this site starting at this link
