Need help to understand Errors

  • Hi,

    I am working with SSRS. We have a daily subscription report. The report is subscribed in the form of excel. Previously it came properly but from 2 weeks the report is not coming. It is showing the status all the time pending.

    I find frequent errors from the error log are below

    Error::Software Usage Metrics Inititalization failed

    Error:Appdomain:5 windowsservice_1 failed to unload

    Error: System.cannotunloadAppDomainException:Error while unloading appdomain (Exception from HRESULT: 0X80131015)

    Deleted the subscription and created the new subscription.

    Restarted the machine and restarted the Sql Server database engine but didn't solve the issue.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • I am wondering if it could be a firewall issue or an issue connecting from SSRS to the Exchange server. Also, did a password for some service account get changed recently?

  • No recent password changes to the service account.

    How to figure out is this causing by the firewall?

  • On the SSRS server you can reach the firewall settings through the control panel.

    I am curious as to what changed two weeks ago from your post. I would talk to the network people or the person who administers the Exchange server.

    In the reporting services configuration under "E-mail Settings" , are the values in there still valid?
