Hi
Not sure if the subject title makes any sense with my question.
I am developing a report with two charts in the same report.
Chart 1 - Region Breakdowns
Chart 2 - Branch breakdowns
We have a requirement like when the user selects particular region in chart 1 , the chart 2 should change dynamically to show respective departments.
While I am aware that this is possible by drill through and passing region as parameter, i would like to know if there is a workaround(code, javascript) to do this within the same report passing the chart 1 user selection as a parameter into chart 2.
As for as i know theres no such option in SSRS, but considering my minimal experience I would like to ask the experts here.
Hope I am making some kind of sense.

The easiest option would just to do a drill through to the same report and passing the parameters along.
Any workaround would be considerably more complex.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried attempting this, unfortunately that's not serving my requirement to dynamically change parameters with out reloading the report.
May be i ll show this to my manager and say this is the best i can do if i get nowhere with this.
Thanks once again

Why is it such a drama if the report reloads?
