Install Management Studio on different servers

  Hi,

  I have a fully licensed version of SQL Server 2008R2 installed on one of my servers.

  My question is can I leave that installation as is and just install Management Studio on another server (purely for convenience).

  I'm pretty sure its possible but I wanted confirmation before I do it.

  Do I need another licence for the second server or does my existing licence cover all my servers?

  If you have a license per connection, that you need to make sure that is covered of course.
