Add Reference to SSIS 2008 package

  • I need to add a dll reference to my 2008 SSIS package for a script task that I'm doing. When I right click the project name, there is only "Add" listed, not "Add Reference."

Any thoughts as to how I can accomplish this? I'm using C# in my script task.

  • Open the Script Task Editor and choose Edit Script. In the VSTA editor, select Project menu and Add Reference...

Oh, good grief. I'd never have found that. Thank you.

  • How do I figure out what the problem is when I add a reference and it has the yellow warning next to it?

Nevermind. I'm in brain-dead mode this morning. I forgot the script window has an error view too.
