  I am aware that there are other methods for sending mail as opposed to CDO

  This is a multi platform deployment, using Sql 2000, 2008, and 2012; so it's a little sticky at the moment

  Anyways, the servers are set up and using a custom variant based on the articles here and at MS, and calling the routines via sp_oaCreate.

  The difference is now that I have to tweak and add a message header and a reply to address.

  The ReplyTo was just a simple oaSetProperty call.

  This is not the case with adding or setting a message header. I have googled and searched within here and MS all morning, and haven't come up with anything substantial.

  At least when I get to dump the 2000 boxes I can redo this within a CLR

  Any suggestions would be appreciated
