'sp_active_processes'. error

    I am trying to run 'sp_active_processes'. and keep getting an error msg 2812 saying it cant find the stored procedure

    I am running it from query analyzer. I have tried 2000, 2005 and 2008r2 with no luck.

    Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    This looks to be a stored procedure that you have downloaded or written. Are you trying to run it from the correct database?

    Does the procedure exist in the database you are using or on the instance at all?
