Strange situation in SQL 2008

    Hello everyone,

    Today i have faced an issue on SQL2008 instance , when we create a new database the default compatibility it is taking as 90. i can change manually to 100. but why we need to change on 2008 instance. is there any option to check at instance level??

    What is the compatability level of you Model DB ?

    If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

    Model DB is 100 but not sure why user dbs are getting 90. is there any option in regedit where we can cross check . thanks for ur reply
