1. Two named instances, M10 and M10A, of SQL Server 2012 are installed on Windows 2012 server (OC) in that order.
2. Both servers have remote access turned on and have proper account access in mixed mode.
3. Instances are configured to port 1433 and 2433 in SQL Configuration Manager in IP2 and IPALL. Windows firewall is open for these ports.
4. Client management studio running on the same machine can see and connect to both servers, M10 and M10A
5. But from a different machine, remote client management studio can see and connect to M10 only. M10A is invisible.
Any thought how to fix the problem?
Why there are so many IP1, IP2, ....IPALL in SQL Configuration Manager?
