Connecting to a datasource on another server

  Hi

  I have a reporting services project deployed to Server1. I have some test data on Server2 and live data on Server1.

  I deploy reports that connect to Server2 and I get the cannot connect to datasource error.

  Obviously I have no problem deploying to server1.

  Does anyone know how I can get round this?

  What is the authentication method? Windows / SQL?

  Does the user exisit on Server2? If not you wont be able to connect?

  If windows authentication do you have SPN's configured for Kerberos double hopping?
