Any one knows if I install BIDs for SQL server 2008 R2 on a workstation that has SQL server 2008 BIDs
installed, will they exist side by side, or 2008R2 BIDs will replace 2008 Bids?
Also if I edit a report or SSIS pacakge in 2008R2 BIDs, can other people still edit it in 2008 BIDS?
Thanks

In order, and if I am wrong I am sure I will be corrected.
1) Yes, you can install them side by side. Be sure to install in a separate directory.
2) No, once you edit a package or report in 2008R2 you won't be able to edit it using 2008.
