SQL Date format

  • Hello, this is my first post to the forum 🙂

Anyway, I would like to ask you how can I convert a date given in the format DD/MM/YYYY and passed as a string to the SQL procedure to validate against a datetime.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • SELECT CONVERT(datetime,@YourDateAsString,103)

the 103 tells it to use the format DD/MM/YYYY
