SQL Server Agent not found

  I'm reviewing our existing SQL Server production instances. Could not help but notice that two did not have SQL Server Agent within the directory tree in SSMS. While I am googling this subject, is Express the only version that does not have the SQL Server Agent?

  Any Comments? URLs would help. Thanks.

  Most likely a permissions issue for your user on that instance. Express and CE (compact edition) don't have it.
