Hello.
I'would like use Geoserver (2.1.3) and SQL Server 2008.
I have a database in Sql Server 2008 r2 (Enterprise).
I have installed the extension for SQL server but I'm not able to see the tables showing up in Geoserver.
As from a previous post I have tried reattaching the DB in Geoserver multiple times but when I try this is the error that show me:
"Error creating data store, check the parameters. Error message: Unable to obtain connection: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Accesso non riuscito per l'utente 'utente X'.)"
I'm not a computer technician,
I don't know what is the problem...
which host, port, user, password should I use?
Where to find these parameters?
Can somebody suggest me a solution to this problem.

Your best bet is to talk to the DBA that maintains SQL on that server. While there is a default port you don't need to specify the port if it's the default. There isn't a default username or password or database that comes with SQL. You may also want to try the GeoServer documentation to see if they specify anything that they create as part of the install (such as the database or any users.)
