Hi Mark,
Not sure if it applies as I don't use SSRS in Sharepoint mode, but what's listed on the Email Settings page of the Reporting Service Configuration Manager? (Shortuct should be somewhere in the SQL Server program group on the Start menu).

Thanks, I had checked that and the SSRS .config files that the configuration information is stored in.

This is now working. The problem was due to user1 account setup the subscription and now the permissions have been removed from this account. It just required a new subscriptions to be created using account User2.
