I would like to create a testing report server.
So I install the database engine and SSRS on the new testing box.
Then configure the report server by using the configuration tool, then I restore the database from the production server to the testing server.
And then restore the encrypted key for the testing database
Now in the scale out deployment screen, it shows two server names, I don't need to ues scale out deployment, plus both servers are standard edition.
So I assume I only need the new testing box name shown in the scale out deployment server list.
why the production server shows there too, I don't want to mess up prodution server, so how can I remove that from the list?

My first thought is that the prod server isn't really there.. I say that because you did a restore and it remembered the prod server but the current server has a different name.. Your prod server is talking to a database that only knows about one server. As for removing it.. I'm unsure, never done that.. Sorry.
