Download report in excel from Web Interface when launched.

    Hello Savers,

    I have a problem. The management now wants to allow our customers to view/access the ssrs reports via web interface. In the web page only the report link needs to be displayed and once the customer clicks the report link, the results must be downloaded immediately to their machine as an excel file. The report should run only when the customer clicks the link and there is no plan for pre-run activity.

    Is this possible to do? If yes, how? Kindly let me know if you have any suggestions.

    add the following to the end of your URL

    &rs:command=Render&rs:Format=render.excel
