Issue while moving data from sql to excel destination- SSIS

    Hi,

    I am using DATA FLOW Task to copy data from sql to excel sheet.

    I have date value that I converted to mm/dd/yyyy format and then used Data Conversion Transormation to convert values to Unicode the I exported to Excel Destination..

    Issue here is I am getting mm/dd/yyyy value in dateformat in excel sheet. But I need in mm/dd/yyyy format.

    You said you are getting mm/dd/yyyy and you need mm/dd/yyyy.

    since there are the same thing I fear I am missing something.

    Assuming there is a small mistake in the dateformats in your question, I think the formatting in the Excel file is wrong. You can select the column, go to Format Cells and there choose the correct formatting.
