SQL SERVER 2008 Remote Connection Configuration Issue

  • Hello All,

I installed sql server 2008 on my PC. After that I am unable to connect to SQL SERVER 2008 on windows authentication mode. I have checked that TCP\IP connection is enabled and Port number is 1433. Firewall is also turned off.

However one thing is that after going through some steps in the net I discovered that when I double click on SQL Server services nothing is coming. Because it was written that if I face any problem then I have to manually configure it by double clicking on sql server properties and unfortunately nothing is showing when I double click on sql server services option under configuration area manger

Do anybody have any Idea Please Help then I need to configure it urgently.

  • Did you try right click on your SQL Server service and select property?

What error did you receive when trying to connect to SQL with Windows Authentication?
