performance issue with SSAS Cube in excel

  Hi,

  I have a performance issue with my cube when I open it in Excel using Pivot table.

  I have several measures and also several dimensions. I opened cube in excel 2007 using pivot table option. when I select each dimension in pivot table field list, the time taking to display the data is getting longer and longer. First dimension coming with in second, second dimension taking one second, thrid one taking 5 seconds and fourth one is taking a minute and fifth one is taking 3 minutes....etc. after that if i keep a measure, it's taking 5 minutes.

  How to resolve this issue? where is the exact problem exist? Is it either with network or with excel?

  if I check the data in BIDS browser then it's coming fine without delay. I have created perceptives and also partitions to this cube. I tried only the perceptive instead of cube and also created 4 partitions and checked still the problem exist.

  Kindly help as I am new to this performance tuning.
