Hi all,
We are trying to get a SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services book and would like to know if you have suggestions as to a good book to buy. I see there are several books available, but I am not sure which one would be the better one to get.
Thank you,
Laura

Check out the reviews on Amazon and then go to the book stores and take your time comparing them.

I like this one.
But that is the only one I have bought. If I were to buy another book, I would do just as already suggested - sit down in a book store and go through several of them and compare.
Better than the books though, IMO, is to sit down with a set of reporting requirements, an instance of SSRS, and google. Figure out how to do what is needed on the fly.

Check the following Books .. I recommend the first one as best

http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Server-Reporting-Services-Unleashed/dp/0672330261

I am not sure abt who made these reviews.. But I have used that book myself and it helped me a lot many a times ... It covers a broad variety of topics not covered in any other book.. Good for both Developers and DBAs ..
One thing is it's not for beginners trying to learn SSRS from scratch ... Its beginner to advanced .. Not a complete beginners book.. Sams SSRS 2008 also is a advanced book..
But beginners can use Pact publishing or Apress Beginners or MS Step By Step books.. But these books don't covers advanced topics (pact covers a bit) .. And one needs to buy advanced books again once their knowledge matures...
That's the reason I gave many books so that the OP can select a good one according to his\her level of understanding
Thank You,
