I recently upgraded MS SQL Server 2008 SP1 to MS SQL Server 2008 R2. The upgrade was completed successfully. However, MS SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services does not start anymore after the upgrade. I also tried to repair. The reporting services could not be started at all. I have searched for issues related to Reporting Services after upgrading MS SQL Server 2008 SP1 to MS SQL Server 2008 R2, but I could not find anything in relation to this.
Therefore, I am wondering if anyone had faced similar situation and how the problem was resolved.
