    This should change in SQL 11 (Denali) with Always On, but in SQL Server 2008 R2, 2008, and 2005, one principal, one mirror, as Gail mentioned.

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189852.aspx - "All database mirroring sessions support only one principal server and one mirror server. This configuration is shown in the following illustration."
