Node failing to join the Cluster

  Hi All,

  I need a help in our production clustered environment (Sql server 2005 9.00.3042.00 and sp2 is intalled). The node 2 is failing to join the cluster throwing the error:

  on Node 1:

  [sqsrvres] ODBC sqldriverconnect failed

  [sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = HY000; native error = 8009030c; message = [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]SQL Network Interfaces: The logon attempt failed

  on Node 2:

  The node cannot join the server cluster because it cannot communicate with node 1 over any network configured for internal server cluster communication. Check the network configuration of the node and the server cluster.

  The Cluster Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 21 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 960000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

  Please anyone who knows how to fix this issue help on this.

  Anybody found the resolution.... I got the same error
