Login required when entering via an e-mail link

    It would be helpful if the system would allow one to proceed directly to a topic (rather than stopping at the sign in screen) when an embedded link is clicked in an e-mail from sqlservercentral.

    Obviously one has registered and their id known to the system as the e-mail was sent. . .

    We've talked about it, though it would require us to change some of the sending procedure to customize each newsletter. Otherwise when someone went to post a reply, answer the questions, etc., it wouldn't know "who" they were.

    Most people don't have this issue as they use a cookie to save their login.

    I've clicked the "remember me" box - will this create the cookie?
