Error in SSRS Mail subscription

    Dear All ! iam getting the following error in the status message of the mail subscription,

    Failure sending mail: The transport failed to connect to the server.

    In the log file the following lines are found,

    extensionfactory!ReportManager_0-3!14d0!10/28/2010-17:21:32:: w WARN: The extension Report Server Email does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.

    extensionfactory!ReportManager_0-3!14d0!10/28/2010-17:21:32:: w WARN: The extension Report Server FileShare does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.

    i searched net and have set the windows service identity as domain login yet im not getting the mail sent.. vexed after 2 days ...

    Any help from u are appreciable !!!

    Have you verified that you can contact your SMTP server from your SSRS Server? Make certain that no antivirus, antimalware, firewalls etc restrict port 25 outbound from that machine to your mail server.

    I am sure that nothing blocks the port 25.

    Is there anything that i can check with config?

    Ours is SQL 2008 Reporting service, But the reports are drawn for the DB in SQL 2005 server being in the same machine.

    OS is Xp pro sp3.

    Kindly advice...

    (Are the details be enough for im new to post)
