Database Mail - Sending SSRS-RDL reports - SQL2005

    Read a few posts about using database mail to send query results but has anyone tried (or been able to) send a report using this function ?

    Using SSRS "subscription" it is possible to email a report.

    I have done this in SQL Server 2005. I don't have 2000 to check this feature.

    That sparked an idea to another solution ...

    We used the Database Mail service with SQL agent to send the report and wrote a small .Net application and used the system scheduler to update the report info. Quick and dirty but it did the trick
