Unfortunately not (although I would be very very happy if someone else could prove me wrong)
Reporting services integration with Excel isn't actually that good, just try exporting a report with charts to Excel, charts suddenly turn into images.
Excel can connect straight to the database engine and if you are using SSAS then it can also consume Cubes.
