Trouble deploying report model in BIDS

  I am very new to SQL Server and am trying to deploy my report model using BIDS. I get the following error:

  A connection could not be made to the report server. . .

  I am not sure where to find my machines report server url to make sure it matches the target url, but have tried a few different configurations and still no luck. Can anyone help?

  Ok, I checked the hostname and IP address for my computer and tried both in the target url. Now I get the following error:

  The report server has encountered a configuration error.
