Hello,
Iam new to database testing and We are migrating database from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 . Please any one can give me the information what we need to test while migrating SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 in testing aspect.

Run the upgrade advisor to see what pops up.
I would also run a profiler trace of a test upgrade and look for deprecated code. There's an event for that. (http://www.mssqltips.com/tip.asp?tip=1370)
