Hi all,
Wondering if someone can direct me to a link which shows when each platform went out of support by Microsoft?
I have some 6.5 DBs and 2000 DBs that we are trying to create the argument for the expense of upgrade (application driven platforms.)
thanks

Here's an explanation of the basic support schedule [/url]for Microsoft products. If you dig around on that site you can find the various products you're interested in. For example, here's the SQL Server 2000 page.

SQL 6.5 will work on NT 4 and Windows 2000.
SQL 2000 will work on up to Server 2008.
Since both of these are out of support with Microsoft, I would certainly upgrade them to SQL 2008.
