SSAS / Date Dimension - not filtering data

    Hello, I created a simple cube w/ one fact table (Invoice History), dimSalesTeam and dimDate. Everything is working including browsing the dimDate hierarchy. When I browse the cube I can manipulate the data w/ everything except the dimDate dimension. If I use the invoice date from the factInvoiceHistory dimension it works... It seems as if the connection between the fact table and the dimDate are not connected. I've explored the data and checked the format between the two fielde; everything looks okay (?).

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    hello, sorry for replying to my own post. I added a relation in the Dimension Usage tab. The referenced field is now working but I need to figure out the relations... Month, Qty, etc.

    any ideas, pls let me know.

    hi again.. I figured it out.. I had to fix the attribute relationship on the date dim.

    guess I just needed to type it out! 🙂
