Hey, I noticed some guys below posted about the free best html editor and domain host, so I thought if it isn't too much trouble:
What's the best free database designer[/url]? Is it worth paying for software?
My goal at this point is just to play around, but the software I found is not exactly fantastic.

There is of course no such thing as free software. 🙂
PowerDesigner is very powerful:

Visio is cheap but basic:

Two questions:
1) What's the relevance of the link? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with your question about free Database Designer tools?
2) What features would you be looking for in a database designer? SQL Server has the diagrammer built-in to SSMS, what would you want beyond that or different from that? (note: I am not asking because I think that the diagrammer is sufficient, I don't, but it would help to know what more you consider necessary).

:w00t: If you are in the software side of the IT industry and you are asking that question... you may be in the wrong business.
