Hello,
Recently encountering a problem using SQLServer Express 2005. After intstalling SP3 for SQLServer I noticed that the service had stopped without restarting. I restarted the service and everything seemed fine.
However, whenever I start up my machine and then launch Outlook 2007 (with the Business Contact Manager component activated) the SQLServer service STOPS and has to be manually restarted. Once Outlook is started and the SQLServer service restarted, Express seems OK and does not stop unexpectedly from that point.
I did not notice this problem before SP3. Also using Macafee virus protection and firewall. Running MSOffice professional and XP Professional, sp 3.
Has anyone heard of this problem before? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

the issue appeared to be with Outlook and the BusinessContactManager component. In Outlook, I selected BusinessContactManager...DatabaseTools...Share Database. After sharing the database with my local user account and the ASP.Net account the server no longer stops when I terminate Outlook. It seems that the problem is solved for now.
