My may main program is on a Vista PC i have a XP laptop that should sync with the vista system when the XP gets on the LAN. The XP is not seeing the SQL server. How do i get the vista to share the SQL or what do i need to do ?

What do you mean by sync?
The Vista machine might have firewall issues preventing this. The firewall is more strict. Also, depending on which version, some versions do not accept remote connections by default.

Synk the xp has a mobil program when the xp is on the notwork it will send information to the vista sql servre

Please use full sentences and periods so we can understand each other. It's hard when you run all your typing together.
Can you connect to the Vista SQL Server from the vista machine? Can you do it from tools on the XP machine?
