Has anyone tried installing SSRS on Windows XP Home? It doesn't even give me an option in the installation process to check Reporting Services and whehn i open the configure report server tool it gives the following error.
No Report Servers were found on the Specified machine
Details:
Invalid namespace

The short answer is no because SQL Server 2005 SSRS is IIS dependent but I found a work around using SQL Server 2008 SSRS with SQL Server 2005 relational engine. See if you can use that or upgrade to SQL Server 2008 it is not IIS dependent.
