I am hoping someone has seen this and knows how to fix this.
Here is the stats:
Windows Server 2008 x64 EE Clustered
SQL Server 2008 x64 EE - MSDN
I recently removed sql server 2005 x64 off this cluster and attempted a clean install, everything was going great untill i received this error message right at 95% done with the installation of the fail over cluster, this is happening on both nodes the error is below. Any suggestions ?
I verified I can restart the WMI and 4.5 is installed so I am at a loss and really dont want to deal with mircosoft again... and the only two microsoft links i found about this error doesnt help.
"The MOF compiler could not connect with the WMI server. This is either because of a semantic error such as an incompatibility with the existing WMI repository or an actual error such as the failure of the WMI server to start"
Thx! 😛
