I have installed sql server 2005 on an server machine. It also has a local intallation of office 2007. From this excel installation i can access without any problems the analysis server data and create pivots etc.
When i'm using a client machine with excel 2007 i can also connect without any problems, find the cubes and so on. But when the wizard ends, the following error message is shown:
"Initialization of the datasource failed...."
has anybody an idea?
