Missing Group Header rows in SSRS Excel output when using Drilldown

  Hi All,

  We face data missing problem only in the excel format of SSRS (Version 2005) outputs, as that comes correct in both the other formats, PDF and mhtml.

  The issue is described below.

  We have a report that involves nested grouping with the Drilldown option being incorporated. When this report is run and exported to excel, it brings up two sheets in order, 'Document Map' and 'Sheet1' with all the groups and detail rows in Expanded (-) state initially. In the Sheet1, we could observe the Group Header row of the innermost group is alone is getting displayed. Only on removing drilldown option from all the groupings, the excel output is coming fine with all the group header rows(both outer and inner) of the nested grouping getting displayed. But fortunately, we do not face any problem with the Group Footer rows of all those outer and inner groups, they are coming fine in the excel output too.

  Please help us out on this in getting all the group header rows displayed when drill down is implemented.

  By unchecking "Repeat Group header" for the groups in the report. There is some problem when multiple groups are present and this option is checked.
