Subreports within table/matrix cells are ignored

  When I export a report in Report Manager to Excel, the detail section is not there. Instead I get the text: "Subreports within table/matrix cells are ignored". However, when I export it to PDF, the detail does appear.

  Does anybody know why this is happening?

  This is driving me nuts!!

  This is a know issue using subreports exported to excel in SSRS 2000/2005. This issue has been corrected is SSRS 2008. Additionally, you may try to rewrite your report using a List or nested lists as these will export to excel without issue.
