I recently backed up my db for my phpbb forum because we were redoing the layout of the site and would need to do a fresh install of phpbb to do so...I succesfully exported my 16MB backup to my home computer through myphpadmin.
Upon trying to restore the db, I've come to find myphpadmin can only import a max 8MB file.
I tried to use a script called Big Dump, but didn't have any luck...I tried to import it back into the original database with all the tables cleared but it said "database already exists"
I then tried to import it into a brand new database but it seemed like the sql file has info in it about the original database because the error I got had the original database name in it as well as the new one....I hope this makes sense..
I do not have ssh access so I cannot try to do it through there though it seems simple that way...would I likely get the same errors?
Any help, guidance, suggestions would be great
