I have setup a Windows 2008 64 Bit Enterprise Server and Installed SQL Server 2005 64 Bit. I then installed SP2 for SQL Server but the Enterprise Manager does not recognise the Database Engine on the Server. The service has started but nothing is available...

I think "discovery"' doesn't function on 64-bit environments.
You should be able to just enter the sqlserver name (server\instance) and connect with ssms !
If that doesn't work...
Did you enable the SQL Server Browser service at the server ?
