I am looking for anyone that has setup VMware where you have your SQL server and Repubs and Subscribers running on Virtual machines - SQL 2005 0r 2008, Windows server 2003 or 2008 or any combination of these.
I need the good the bad and the ugly information before we dive in to deep - might be too late.
I have done a lot of due diligance and even setup test environments but nothing that would compare to production so I really would appreciate any information from individuals that are doing this in production currently.
Thanks in advance.

Quite a few people are running SQL Server is VMs, but you have to be aware that you have less resources than on a similarly sized server. If you have heavy I/O or CPU, then you might not get good performance on a VM. If you run 10 VMs / host for file servers/DCs/etc., you might need to run 1 or 2 VMs per host for SQL.
Replication is irrelevant. VMs don't impact this. VMs only matter for performance considerations.
