  • Hi all,

I have setup a Full backup (subplan1) in Maintenance Plan, it works ok. I want to setup a diff backup (subplan2). There is a problem that I selected some speical databases and click ok for save. But when I check the task, it display in database(s). The work can't start.

Please tell me where is the problem.

what do you mean by that? what's the exact error message?

Do all DIFF backup databases have a FULL backup before that?

I just did a Maint. Plan last week to do FULL weekly, DIFF daily, LOG 15 mins, cleanup, etc..... each subplan has separate schedule

    No problem there

  • Yes, I did a FULL backup in subplan1 and did a DIFF backup in subplan2. I defined whick database need to backup, but the job failed. I am back to check the subplan and found database(s) is empty.
