I have just returned from leave today and discovered I cannot import or export Excel (.xls) to and from my databases. I could do this perfectly well before I went on leave a week ago. (I can import export csv files with no issue). A quick browse and Windows updates appear to be the problem.
2 updates were installed when I was away - KB4041693 & KB4043763 on 11/10/2017 (DD/MM/YYYY).
The OS is Win Server 2012 R2
Before I uninstall them can anyone suggest any other reason why this has stopped work.
