Looking for a quick way to link 2000 sql to 2005. I have looked at many scripts and still not working for me.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Which way is the connection going? Is the 2000 server pulling data from the 2005 server, or the other way around?

The 2005 is pulling data from the 2000 server.

You should be able to set up a linked server for that in Management Studio. Connect to the 2005 server, expand Server Objects, right click on Linked Servers, put in your connection data, and it will do it for you, or give you the script for it if you like.
