I have recovered mdf files for a client who had lost his files, i want to know whether i can maybe explore the files on a PC. Is it possible?:crying:
PS: The Ldf files cannot be recovered, i don't have them

You can attach these to a SQL Server instance (dev, express) and then look at them. It will rebuild the log files.

Only if the database was shutdown cleanly Steve - otherwise it won't attach the database and it will have to be hacked into the server (man, I really must do that blog post of my TechEd demo of that!)
