is it possible to avoid limited xp user to explore system databases such as master,msdb....

    hi, is it possible to avoid limited xp user to explore system databases such as master,msdb.... or how could we provide to explore just his/her own databases that's created. if yes, how???? i could not get it...

    What do you mean by xp user? That doesn't really make sense to me.

    If a user does not have rights to a database, they can't use it. They need limited rights to master to login, but they don't need rights to msdb and shouldn't.

    ok, i'm sorry. xp user mean, limited user account on xp. in xp admin account, i added a group "abc" tying with the "xyz" limited xp account.then i added new login in SSMS tying with "abc" group.and i provided role mapping with its own db. when i switched user to that limited account and when i started to SSMS i ve seen that msdb,master and tempdb can be explored.
