Password not expiring even though its checked

  I have an SQL account which has both Enforce Password policy and Enforce password expiration checked. The status is enabled.

  I retrieved the loginproperty(name, 'PasswordLastSetTime') info on the account and it indicated the password was last changed 177 days ago. I checked the local policy and the password should expire after 64 days. The OS is windows 2003 server SP2.

  Why hasn't this account expired? I have several accounts all the same way and none have expired.

  Have you logged in with the account? It should ask for a new password.
