Hi,
I would like to know if there is a way to Migrate the SharePoint Server 2007 Database presently residing in Microsoft#SSEE (Windows Internal Database) to SQL Server 2008 ?
I recently installed SQL 2008, and would like to centrally manage SharePoint Database in SQL 2008.
Best Regards,
Gokul

I have exactly the same question.
MSDN is giving information about transferring databases from 1 sharepoint server to another but not for moving databases from a SQL instance to another.
I am going to disconnect farm from databases using psconfig configdb -disconnect, moving databases and then using psonfig configdb -connect...
Is there difference between MOSS and WSS for that kind of manipulation ?
Thank you
Adrien

Hello ileickcallisto,
I managed to move all databases using alias as it was suggested in this post : http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepointadmin/thread/99867412-3e75-4775-a424-0224e24a3708
But since I did it, msdn page for moving all databases has been refreshed and it should work great now : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc512725.aspx
Regards,
Adrien
